Anniversary Conference 30 years deutscher ingenieurinnenbund e.V.

In the context of this years 30th anniversary the „German Association of Women Engineers“ (dib)  is organising a European Conference in cooperation with the global association  „International Network of Engineers and Scientists“ (INWES)

The event will be held in Munich-Freising from 4th – 6th of November 2016.


The conference theme “Science.Knowledge.Power” deals with current issues like Big Data, Gender & Science, Technology and Career Perspectives. At the same time the european network INWES Europe will hold their Constitutional Meeting  The Constitutional Meeting is to be held on Friday, 5th of November 2016 9-12 in Room “Aula” at the Venue.

Who is INWES?

INWES was established in 2002 as a network of national associations for women in MINT and represents more than 200.000 women in over 40 countries. The INWES board meeting will be held in Munich-Freising from 2 – 3 November 2016 and the Regional Conference Europe will be held in parallel to the dib anniversary conference.


dib invites all female engineers, scientists and students to attend the anniversary conference. In this special year the conference will be held in cooperation with INWES – engineers and scientists from around the world are expected to speak and attend. The interesting and versatile program offers keynotes in english and german language, panel discussions, seminars, lectures, excursions and workshops.
